Orpington Cricket Club is committed to ensuring that all children (all persons under the age of 18) participating in cricket have a safe and positive experience.
Volunteer positions at the club will be advertised on the Website. The club intends that all volunteer positions will be occupied by club members who are well known to the club. In the rare circumstance that a position cannot be filled by a club member, the club will obtain candidate references accordingly.
In addition, all volunteers with direct or unsupervised contact with children will be required to have an up to date DBS vetting certificate (available from the Club Welfare Officer) and complete the ECB Volunteers In Cricket application form (linked to this page)
Where positions require further training and/or qualifications, the club is committed to offering financial support.
If you are interested in volunteering at Orpington Cricket Club please ensure that you take the time to read through the club and ECB codes of conduct in the Club Welfare section of the website.
